The Library

'The Library' is an online library of books and other material pertaining to the services of individuals and units of British and Allied Forces. 'The Library' contains 550 British unit histories and items of biographical reference material spanning the last few hundred years, with an extensive coverage of the 19th and early 20th Centuries.

'The Library' is available on a pay-as-you-go basis and by subscription.

Subscribers to this private membership service can access 'The Library' in its entirety. Standard subscription to 'The Library' is now £50 per annum, which currently equates to less than 10p per volume. This offers fantastic value for money to those interested in genealogy, military history and medals, without the need to build an expensive physical library and house it.

Currently, access to The Library, is £50 per annum, providing unlimited access and printing. Access to all of our services in one bundled package can be purchased for £100 per annum.

With the ease of internet access and printing being unlimited, you can access the service anywhere in the world at any time and without the need to risk damaging your own personal material during copying. It will also be possible to access the service via smart phones.

For the first time, you can access a military library without leaving your own home and where each available item is searchable. Given that 40% or more of original material of this kind is not indexed, the ability to search for specific keywords in this material is invaluable.

Free Reviewing and Pay-as-you-go
Customers may use 'The Library' on a pay-as-you-go basis and reviewing available titles is FREE. To use the Main Library Catalogue, we have provided categories from which specific volume selection can be made. To review the descripton of any volume, please click on the title of the volume which will lead to a page providing the 'product description' (half way down the page). If a title is made up of more than one volume, pay-as-you-go access is inclusive of all relevant volumes, e.g if you wish to search Ruvigny's Roll of Honour, a five volume series, the pay-as-you-go payment is as for one volume and access is provided to all five volumes. Volumes purchased are accessible via your account, 'View Order' and our 'Online Book Indices'. Subscribers
Subscribers can access 'The Library' in its entirety. To use the Main Library Catalogue, we have provided categories from which specific volume selection can be made. Detailed records of each book or series of books are available providing links directly to contents pages, illustrations, indices, etc., and are located within our 'Online Book Indices'. For subscribers access is made available instantly when clickng on a book title and via 'More information' (free to subscribers) links. Volumes are searchable and access and printing is unlimited. You will be prompted to log in if you have not already done so.
